How to See a Property

We ask that you go by the properties and view them from the outside to check whether they meet your criteria for light, accessibility, convenience to transportation, etc. If you are not sure where they are on Capitol Hill, go to the Capitol Hill Map. If you wish to see the interiors, call 202/547-3511 or email Rent@YarmouthM.com (please include your daytime phone number) to schedule an appointment. We show a maximum of three different rental properties at a time.

Our office and showing hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. When you arrive for your first appointment, you will need to bring a photo-ID, such as a state-issued driver’s license or non-driver's ID, U.S. Military ID, or a passport with proof of address. If you choose to apply for a property, a one-time processing fee of $20 will be charged for each adult who applies. Remember, to apply for a property you must first inspect the inside.

If APPLICATION(S) PENDING, NOT SHOWN TODAY follows an individual listing, then it will not be shown on this day while the applications are being processed and presented to the property owners. Please review the daily listing sheet for information on the status of these properties.

PET POLICY is made by individual property owners. If a listing says NO PETS, then no pets are allowed. If pets will be considered and if the individual owner accepts your pet, you will be required to pay a pet deposit along with your security deposit.

Remember that tenants in some of the units may be in the process of packing, while other units are being readied for new residents. Please pardon the dust! Thank you and good luck in your apartment or house hunting.
